Beacon Health Medical Fitness Week begins

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Medical Fitness Association is holding its Medical Fitness Week where the country’s medical fitness facilities are challenged to take part in two activities, the MOVE150 and WALK10k.

The MOVE150 challenge asks participants to be physically active for 150 minutes throughout the week. Activities can be logged with Bingo sheets provided at facility front desks.

Participants can turn in these sheets with or without a Bingo and go above or below 150 minutes of activity and still be eligible for prizes.

The WALK10k challenge encourages participants to walk 10,000 steps throughout the week. These are also logged with a sheet provided at the front desk.

Going above or below 10,000 steps a day does not disqualify participants from receiving prizes.

Respective tracking sheets are due on May 16.

Potential prizes include:

  • Complimentary massage
  • 1 Month Hydro Massage
  • 3-pack of personal training
  • Resting metabolic rate test
  • T-shirt
  • Free guest passes!
  • 4 hours PTO

Tracking sheets are also available to download here.

Participation is free and open to all Beacon associates. Registration is also available online for locations in South Bend, Granger and Elkhart.
